GARDEN TRACTOR AND MINI-ROD PULLING
GENERAL RULES
New Rule Changes in Red

The track will be 300 feet long and 30 feet wide. A chalk line will be used.
All tractors will be weighed 30 minutes before the pull.
All tractors are subject to being reweighed as they pull on the track.
Hook fee is $5.00 per hook.
All pullers must also be member's of Hillbilly Hook n Pull LLC, Membership Prices are as follows.

Day Membership - $15.00
Annual Single Membership - $20.00

No alcohol or beer at the track is permitted.
No smoking while on track.
All classes must wear safety helmets.
All drivers will wear shirts, long pants and shoes.
Fire suits will be worn by drivers using alcohol fuel.
Nitro in any form is not permitted.
Fighting, arguing, unsporting conduct or unsafe action is not permitted.
Drivers must stay in the seat at all times.
Drivers cannot take both hands from the steering wheel at the same time.
Weights cannot be added after the weigh in but may be moved.
No riders will be allowed at any time.
Drivers making the pull must drive the tractor on the track.
Position of pulling is determined by the order driver signed in.
All tractors must be in neutral during the hook and start from a tight chain.
Tractors may pull in a heavier class but not pull in a lighter class.
If more than one tractor goes out the gate a pull off will be used.
Any tractor pulling 300 feet (full pull ) will be in a pull off.
Drivers are allowed 2 attempts to pull if not going 50 feet.
Drivers not following flagman signals will be disqualified.
The pull is over when forward motion stops, determined by the flagman.
There will be no 4 wheel drives, duals, studded or paddle tires or chains.
All belts, chains and clutches must be shielded.
Drawbars will be 13 inches high maximum and not back of rear tires, (mini-rods hitch must be inch thick, loop).
All tractors must have wheelie bars or wheels, 5 inches from the ground.
Exhaust must deliver upward 12 inches above the bend.
(Garden tractors are exempt one time from the above).
Loss of weights or parts from tractor while pulling is automatic disqualification.
Pull is over when red flag is dropped.
Any puller 10 years or less must have adult walk beside them when pulling.
All pullers will sign a release from any liability.
(Parent or guardian must sign for juveniles).
Tractor Maximum width is 60 inches, 8 feet long, and 6 feet wheelbase.
Wheels must be no larger than 12 inches diameter and 12 inches wide.
No pro tires allowed in stock class.
Mini-rods drivers are not to wear nylon jacket.
Tractors using alcohol fuel must wear fire retardant suit.
All classes must have a mounted fire extinguisher within easy reach.
TRACK MANAGERS DECISION IS FINAL AND MAY DISQUALIFY ANY PULLER FOR ANY INFRACTION OF THESE RULES IN HIS JUDGEMENT.

Protest procedure will be, protester must present to the Track Manager $50.00. Protest fee must be of the same class as the protested tractor. The Track Manager will appoint 3 members to investigate and supervise any complete tear down of the engine if necessary. If protested tractor is deemed to be legal the protest fee goes to the protested puller. If the protested tractor is deemed to be illegal the protest fee goes to the protester, the protested tractor returns any trophies for that event and is disqualified for pulling for one year.

A points system as follows will be used to determine end of season Points Championship.

1 point for tractor to show up for the event.
5 points to hook.
10 points for 1st place.
9 points for 2nd place.
8 points for 3rd place.
7 points for 4th place.
6 points for 5th place.
5 points for 6th place.
4 points for 7th place.
3 points for 8th place.
2 points for 9th place.
1 point for 10th place.

THESE GENERAL RULES APPLY TO ALL TRACTORS AND DRIVERS, THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
STATEMENTS MADE AT EACH EVENT WILL TAKE "PRECEDENCE"
